Destaque para diva do pop Christina Aguilera

Semana cheia de lançamentos nos principais mercados do mundo: Estados Unidos e Reino Unido. Em ambos, Christina Aguilera chega com o quinto álbum da carreira: Bionic - o quarto em inglês. Em meio a chuva de críticas - a maioria sem qualquer fundamento - a americana de 29 anos se lança com uma sonoridade que está na moda: o techno pop. O Project Monkeys já conferiu e aprovou o resultado. São 18 faixas mesclando o estilo dance e as baladas - o ponto forte da cantora. Porém, a impressão que fica é que se tivesse lançado um álbum assim há quatro anos, tudo seria melhor aceito. No período, Justin Timberlake e Nelly Furtado chegavam ao topo das paradas com esse estilo - ambos apadrinhados pelo produtor Timbaland. Já Christina estava no mercado com um álbum retrô, e que, mesmo belíssimo, não teve bom êxito. Agora com Bionic, a cantora fica à sombra do fenômeno pop do momento: Lady GaGa, que esperta e munida de bons produtores, seguiu o fluxo corretamente.
